Membership

Membership in a Presbyterian Church is by one of several methods.

• Baptism and Profession of Faith; for new believers or persons who have not previously joined any Christian church.

• Transfer of Membership; for those who belong to another Christian church and wish to transfer their membership to a new congregation.

• Reaffirmation of Faith; represents a return to the church after a period of inactivity. This path to membership is also used for those whose records of prior church affiliation are unavailable.

• Affiliate Membership; for those who wish to establish a formal and active relationship with a particular church on a seasonal basis while retaining membership in a "home" church.
